Alumni Program
We’re excited to launch LIL’s first-ever Alumni Program in 2026. We welcome past participants to stay connected, continue learning, and remain part of our growing community. Below are some of the ways alumni can stay engaged and give back:
Virtual Alumni Gatherings
Reconnect with your cohort and fellow alumni through virtual meetups. These sessions offer space to reflect, share challenges, and stay in conversation with LIL and one another.
Panelist & Speaker Opportunities
Leverage your subject matter expertise by sharing your knowledge with the current cohort. You may be invited to present at virtual sessions and in-person panels, such as the LIL retreat.
Topics may include:
Your organization’s growth journey
Lessons learned during your LIL experience
Skills-based trainings
Advice for new cohorts
Securing large grants
Nonprofit leadership best practices
Participatory Grantmaking
LIL uses a participatory grantmaking framework to ensure decision-making power is shared amongst the communities we serve. As alumni, you’ll have meaningful opportunities to help review applications and shape our funding strategy for incoming cohorts.
PR and Media Opportunities
We love uplifting the incredible work of our alumni! We regularly feature alumni stories on LIL’s website, social media, and newsletter. We may also extend invitations to speak at public events or participate in media interviews that are secured by LIL.
Loan Program
Launching in 2026, LIL’s new loan program will provide flexible capital for mission-critical projects. Alumni interested in applying should contact our team for more information.
Slack Community
Stay in touch with LIL and your peers through our dedicated alumni Slack channel. We’ll provide the platform to share updates, ask questions, and remain connected as a member of our growing network.
