The Levine Impact Lab powers equitable impact by investing in community-based leaders and organizations, building their capacity to accelerate positive environmental and social change.

Operating through the spirit of collaboration, flexibility, and trust.

Our Mission

The Levine Impact Lab is dedicated to driving positive social and environmental change by empowering visionary nonprofits deeply embedded in their communities. We provide unrestricted grant funding, tailored coaching, and close engagement to support a journey towards impactful change.

The Lab combines expertise from the business and nonprofit sectors to radically amplify the value of giving. Working with both individuals and organizations, it creates new models for the nonprofit sector by fortifying a network of community-led organizations working towards environmental and social justice.

LIL’s Model

The Lab uses a unique set of pillars to create sustainable, long-term impacts:

Organizational Development and Individual Leadership

Cohorts attend an 18-month program that includes strategy, operations, and finance; coaching and leadership development.

Community Building

A series of in-person and virtual gatherings foster connections and a growing alumni network builds long-term relationships.

Multi-sector Networks

On-going connections between nonprofit, business and venture capitalist leaders create cross-sectoral learning and open doors to new partnership opportunities.

Financial Support

Annual unrestricted financial support to cohort organizations accelerates their ability to apply what they learn in the Lab and enables them to sustainably scale their impact.

“When I first joined the Levine Impact Lab, I had just stepped into my leadership role at Feed the Second Line. I was learning in real time—navigating challenges, building systems, and trying to find my voice in spaces where I wasn’t always sure I belonged. Over the past three years, LIL has been more than a support system; it’s been a lifeline. This space allowed me to grow with intention, to lead with purpose, and to be held accountable in ways that were loving but transformative. Their deep commitment to justice, sustainability, and the power of community-centered leadership has shaped the leader I am today. This isn’t just a lab—it’s a sacred space where leaders are nurtured, seen, and empowered to rise.” — Tinice “Tee” Boudreaux, CEO, Feed the Second Line

“I was a little skeptical because their approach to funding and organizational culture sounded too good to be true. To my amazement, the experience with LIL has been even better than advertised, and the retreat took my appreciation for the LIL team to the next level!” — Matinde Evans, Executive Director, Code Super Powers

“Southside Blooms has benefited greatly from our participation in the Levine Impact Lab! The Levine family's world class business acumen and global network of business leaders has helped to facilitate our organizational growth as our revenues increased by 143 percent in our first year in the program. I would highly recommend LIL to anyone lucky enough to get an opportunity to join this program!” — Quilen Blackwell, President, Southside Blooms
