This workshop addressed one of the most consistently cited capacity gaps among grassroots nonprofit leaders: boards that are not engaged in fundraising. While most of our boards are community-rooted and mission-passionate they may not understand how or may be afraid to support our fundraising efforts. During this session, we discussed realistic approaches and took away practical tools to activate your board to become true partners in supporting your development program.
